One of the things I most enjoy living on an island is spending time at the ocean. There never ceases to be an abundance of sights, sounds and smells to take in.

We love to check out the sea life that shows up - this time we saw a beautiful purple starfish that was enjoying the shallow water.

There is never a shortage of picture opportunities ~ it helps me stay in
the moment and appreciate how lucky we are!

The day we were down at Piper's Lagoon there was a wedding taking place! I have to say the couple were very lucky with the day they had! They scooped one of the first nice Saturdays of the year! So happy for them and all their guests!

Mayberry Workshop on the Go

I can not believe we are already almost half way through July!! Seriously!! And who stole the sun this year?? I think we have had 4 days of summer so far! Crazy!

Well...I guess that gives us more time to play in the craft room then :)

More Bang for Your Buck in July!

Mommy's little helper :)

When I take pictures of my layouts, cards and projects I set it up in my dining room and take a few shots of each to get the right angle.

I was doing just that the other day and felt my little shih-tzu Stitch poke his head between my knees to get a better look (and some attention!) I'm not sure if approved of what was going on
but he sure wasn't going to be left out! :)

I could not resist...I just had to get a picture of his little helper face! :)

A day at the beach....

We spent Saturday down on the seawall as a family ~ such a great way to spend an afternoon! I am always so amazed that I get to live somewhere that is so beautiful!

The tide was so far out that you could actually walk between two of the islands...but you have to watch to make sure you are back on the right side when the tide comes back in! :)

You and Me Kit Workshop

I will be hosting a Workshop on the You and Me Kit on Tuesday July 5th.

To take part in this workshop all that you need to purchase is the You & Me Kit which is currently $16.50 with partial proceeds going toward relief for the areas in the US that have been hit by tornadoes recently.

I absolutely LOVE everything about this kit! The colors are beautiful! The stamp set is amazing....I have to fight with myself not to use the swirl in everything I do! :)

Father's Day Card

This is a great buckle card that I made using the Miracle paper pack ~ one of my favorites! I am so pleased to be way ahead of myself with this! I'm usually making my card the day before or even sometimes the day of the event! Need to kick that habit!!
